In March of 1989, Dar Eckley began his ministry as Pastor of Grace Family Church. He has witnessed the church’s growth from a handful of people to a sanctuary overflowing. His sensitivity to the Holy Spirit has given him the ability to preach with both boldness and compassion. Dar is an author and his teachings, in print and audio, have been distributed around the world.

Pastor Dar and Shelley reside in rural Iowa with their four children Victoria, Chase, Chandler and Dayne.

Grace Family Church celebrated 30 years of Faith for Families in 2016 and continues to thrive as it has from its very inception. Under God’s direction, Pastor Dar has created a ministry based on excellence; and together with his staff and many volunteers who serve, the church continues to reach and build families with the message of Jesus Christ.
